While we were waiting for the iPad Mini to be unveiled, Tim Cook and Phil Schiller have instead introduced the new iPad 4 first. This model comes just 6 months after the New iPad 3!
iPad 4 crashes iPad Mini event
First up it is being dubbed the 4th generation iPad and has the new A6X chip similar to that in the iPhone 5. It doubles the performance of CPU tasks. It also doubles the graphics performance.
Not only is it faster but it has the new lightning port: Lightning to USB and Lightning to an SD card reader. It also comes in the same configurations as the previous New iPad 3 (black and white) and the price points remain the same.
As you would have guessed, it costs the same as well, starting at just $499. And yes, it looks just like the iPad 3. Next up is the iPad Mini so stay tuned for our next post on the highly anticipated baby iPad!
