iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak Has Been Successful, Cydia Finally Runs Smoothly

By  |

Owners of the iPhone have had a nightmare of a wait for the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak but now that nightmare is over as we have seen screenshots of Cydia and it is finally running smoothly on what seems to be the iPhone 6S.

The iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak hasn’t come from TaiG or Pangu, but from Luca Todesco. He is an hacker that lives in Italy and he posted more than one screenshot of the iPhone running without restrictions and with Cydia apps on it.

At the moment the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak hasn’t been made available to download. He is saving the exploits he found for when iOS 9.2.1 or iOS 9.3 comes out. Releasing it now would allow Apple to seal the exploits found and this would mean that the jailbreak would not work with updates.

Luca did say that jailbreaking iOS 9.2.1 has been harder than previous versions and he said that people might want to rethink about updating their iPhone or iPad if they wanted a jail broken device.
