iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak Back On Track Just Like That!

By  |

When the Apple iPhone 5 was revealed last year developers started looking into the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak, but fans were disappointed to hear one of the famous of jailbreaks, pod2g had put the jailbreak on hold.

iPhone iOS 6 untethered jailbreak coming soon

One of the reasons he had done so was so that he could work on development of his apps. One of which was podDJ, which is a life-like DJ booth for the Apple iPad. He has finally completed this and it is in the App Store with a price tag of $8.

With this aside the good news is that pod2g is back on the jailbreak and some progress has been made already. PlanetBeing is working with pod2g and recently posted a photo of the working version of the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak on his Apple iPhone 5. However the jailbreak is out of the reach of the public as he wants more exploits to be found first before the release.

Pod2g has joined the untethered jailbreak hunt and is looking for a release that is worthy of being made available to the public. At the moment all iOS 6 devices are locked up, including the Apple iPad 5 and the Apple iPad 4.

The last few tweets between the jailbreak greats are very promising as they seem to have found many more exploits and possibly could just be waiting for Apple to release the iOS 6.1 update before revealing it.
