When a new Apple iPhone is revealed jailbreaking becomes a step more difficult to accomplish. When you add in updates from Apple, it is a wonder that developers are able to jailbreak the handset at all. Therefore it hasn’t come as any surprise that we are still waiting for the untethered jailbreak for the Apple iPhone 5.
Evasi0n: iPhone iOS 6 untethered jailbreak nears
Things could change this coming Sunday as a group of jailbreakers who are known as the Evad3rs plan on releasing a new jailbreak tool, Evasi0n. The group have a website and it is clean and simple in its layout. If things go as planned then the iPhone 5 iOS 6 untethered jailbreak could come out on Sunday and it could be the easiest jailbreak tool to use since JailBreakMe.
The team say that the jailbreak will support iOS 6.1 and the Apple iPhone 5, 4S, 4, 3GS, 4th gen iPod Touch, and Apple iPad Mini, along with the 3rd and 4th gen iPads.
We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that there is some surprises this Sunday than just the Super Bowl. We’ll be ready to test the Evasi0n jailbreak out over the weekend if it becomes available and post our report here.
