It was believed that the new Honor 9 smartphone were to be unveiled on the 27th of June this month which is not that far away but new leaks suggest that we might actually see the device two weeks earlier than the expected date.

The rumor started after a poster was seen on Weibo this week revealing that there is going to be a launch event in Shanghai on the 12th of June. The poster itself does not reveal much about the device but it did suggest that the device will come with a dual camera configuration.

It is believed that the new Honor 9 will sport a 5.2-inch display screen and that it will run on the Kirin 960 processor with 4 or 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device should be sold for $400 when it arrives.

More details will be revealed in a week time so stay tuned.
