Owners of the HTC Thunderbolt have been left out in the cold waiting for the update to Ice Cream Sandwich. Today we are into September and HTC did say that they would be launching the ICS update in August.
HTC Thunderbolt ICS update still missing
HTC however have taken the full blame for not delivering and keeping to their promise of releasing the ICS update on time and have basically confirmed that they have indeed missed the deadline. HTC have also said that they are working alongside Verizon to get the update out to owners of the HTC Thunderbolt as soon as possible.
So for now, there is no indication of when the update will be available for users of the Thunderbolt and fans will just have to be patient, once again.
The HTC Thunderbolt was released in 2011 with the following specs: Android 2.3, 480 x 800 resolution capacitive TFT multi-touch screen, 768 MB of RAM, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, camera of 8 megapixels with auto focus and face detection, video support for 720p HD and a front camera of 1.3 megapixels.
