Droid Life has reported that there have been some recent leaks of a new updated Ice Cream Sandwich build, for the Verizon HTC Rezound. This Ice Cream Sandwich build is set to be version 3.14.605.10.
New HTC Rezound Android 4.0 build appears bug-free and ready for prime time
Since there was another Android 4.0 ICS build for the Rezound not too long ago,, there is not a great deal to fix and therefore changes are relatively few. Those changes include fixes to the text messaging problem, the caller ID application has been eradicated, and a data widget has been added. The fact that there are only some minor adaptations to the previous update is promising, as it means that there has not been that much to fix and therefore it is almost time to officially release the HTC Rezound Android 4.0 update to the general public.
DL adds that they have been informed by HTC that the HTC Rezound Android 4.0 update is likely to be available before the end of the summer; July at the latest, and we can’t wait to get it to fix those small bugs we have since the phone was released.
Now of course if you can’t wait for Verizon to officially roll out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Rezound and feel confident about this latest official build (we haven’t seen any bugs so far), you can flash it on your Rezound at your own risk (files available at DroidLife). If you do, please tell us how it’s running.
