While the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Motorola DROID RAZR HD have been in la-la land when it comes to Jelly Bean, HTC have done what they are known best for and that is ensuring that their reputation for software support remains untarnished.
HTC One X hits Android 4.1 Jelly Bean already, all eyes now on 4.2
They have already rolled out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to the HTC One X which mind you is older than both the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Motorola DROID RAZR HD.
Jelly Bean will bring with it stability and smoothness in comparison to ICS, due to internal optimisation, fixes of bugs and of course Project Butter.
So what might be next on the agenda for the HTC One X and its bigger brother the HTC One X+? Both of the devices should get the update to Android 4.2 naturally and this would bring Photo Sphere and widgets to the lock screen, plus many other new features. Here’s hoping HTC can keep the pace and stay ahead of Motorola and Samsung.
