The HTC One M10 is shady thanks to it hiding the monthly security patch level. There were some owners who thought that it was missing off the handset but it seems that it is actually hidden. HTC should be shamed because updates should be made accessible to owners easily, they shouldn’t have to go looking for them.
Owners are also worried that the HTC One M10 could be hiding the amount of time that the screen is on in the battery details. We have seen this with other handsets in past and this was how HTC dealt with criticism about the battery life being poor on their handsets. It started off with the HTC One X, a device that had poor battery life.
The patch issue with the HTC One M10 has got many people wound up. But the chance of something occurring without the patch is relatively low. Owners do want to be safer rather than sorry, however it is there, it is hidden.
So is HTC being shady with the HTC One M10?
