HTC One A9 Says Goodbye To Android Marshmallow, Finally

By  |

There is good news for owners of the HTC One A9 as they will soon be saying goodbye to Android Marshmallow and hello to Android 7.0 Nougat. The update is heading out OTA and it began in some regions on 16 January.

The update to Android Nougat is heading towards those who have an unlocked version of the HTC One A9, however it isn’t known if those on Spring, AT&T and T-Mobile will also be getting the update.

HTC began updating handsets to Android 7.0 Nougat with the HTC 10 and those with unlocked versions started getting it in late November. The update was then stopped due to issues with bugs and it was said that it would be fixed in around three weeks.

So keep your fingers crossed that the Android 7.0 Nougat update heading to the HTC One A9 isn’t going to come with bugs.
