While the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the bestselling Android smartphone on the market at the moment, in the last few weeks we’ve seen a lot of new top-end Androids launch and even the Galaxy Note 2 supposedly show signs of selling faster than the S3. In this particular comparison, we take a look at the Verizon HTC DROID DNA and what its chances are against the now aging Samsung Galaxy S3.
HTC DROID DNA vs Samsung Galaxy S3
The folks over at PhoneArena have posted a video comparison showing just how the HTC Droid DNA matches up against the Samsung Galaxy S3. As you will see in the video below, both of the devices are very impressive and of course the DNA is the newer of the two handsets and therefore has the more impressive specs sheet.
The HTC Droid DNA and the Samsung Galaxy S3 are very similar when it comes down to size and they are both easy devices to hold in the hand. The Galaxy S3 is the thinner of the two handsets and it is lighter as well, however this is hardly noticeable. The HTC Droid DNA does have some great looks thanks to the red accents.
In regards to the screens, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has the 1280 x 720 display of 4.8 inches, which is Super AMOLED and has 306ppi and the HTC Droid DNA comes with the slightly larger display of 5 inches with 441ppi and resolution of 1080 x 1920, which is Super LCD 3. This does provide the device with the edge in regards to sharpness and also provides better visibility when under glaring sunlight.
