It is thought that the HTC Bolt may come out later on this month over in the US and if it does, and the HTC 10 hasn’t yet got Android Nougat, the Bolt is going to be the first device from HTC to offer the update. Of course the Google Pixel and Pixel XL run on Nougat but these cannot be counted as they don’t offer the HTC branding.
A developer of HTC ROMs said that the HTC Bolt is going to come with Android Nougat along with Sense 8 UI, which is the same Sense seen on the HTC 10. The Bolt has been given the codename of HTC Acadia and it is going to arrive overseas along with the US.
Sprint is going to offer the HTC Bolt over in the US within the next few weeks and it has been said that the handset is going to look like the HTC 10, with a fingerprint scanner and metal body.
So at the moment the race is on between the HTC 10 and HTC Bolt to see which handset is the first from HTC to offer up Android Nougat.
