The Honda Ridgeline may not be as tough or rugged as competitors such as the Chevrolet Silverado and the Ford F-150 and it was teased as not being a true truck. Now though it is looking as though it is going to have the last laugh.
Chevrolet started the true truck ball rolling when the showed a comparison video of the Chevrolet Silverado and the Ford F-150 going up against each other to find out which truck offered the strongest bed. They wanted to prove that the aluminum bed wasn’t strong enough on the Ford F-150.
The video revealed that the Silverado came out ahead as the bed of the truck only had some minor scratches on it from throwing concrete blocks onto it. The Ford F-150 truck bed was actually punctured.
Honda then joined in on the action and they applied the same test to the Honda Ridgeline and the Ridgeline managed to come out of the test with just some minor scratches, so it looks like it had the last laugh.
