The Chevrolet Silverado and the Honda Ridgeline are both great choices of pickup truck; however they do fall under different segments. The Silverado is in the large segment and the Ridgeline is in the midsized.

Just because the Honda Ridgeline is in the smaller segment this doesn’t mean that it is weaker than the Chevrolet Silverado. The Ridgeline does have front-wheel drive and it has been said to be the ultimate of workhorses.

The Honda Ridgeline did go up against the Chevrolet Silverado in a test recently and it showed off its strength. The test was a bed strength test and the Ridgeline actually came out ahead.

The test between the Honda Ridgeline and Chevrolet Silverado was concrete blocks being poured into the bed of the trucks. The results of the test saw the Ridgeline suffering from slight scratches and the bed of the Silverado was heavily dented.
