When the new generation of the Honda Pilot was launched the SUV was a hit straight away and it put the nose of the Toyota Highlander out of joint a bit. During 2016 things were about the same but in 2017 the competition is a much better match.
The Toyota Highlander has been given a superb update and it now comes with the V6 3.5 litre engine with the 8 speed gears. It has also been treated to new safety features and these include auto emergency braking and forward collision prevention.
The Honda Pilot is going to be the same as it ever was, with some improvements being made to the cabin. The 2017 Honda Pilot will offer up a new infotainment system and this offers support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
So the Toyota Highlander and the Honda Pilot is now a much better match for each other, but which is going to come out ahead in 2017?
