Among the most successful of the subcompact hatchbacks on the market is the Honda Fit and you don’t need to look very hard to discover why this is. The vehicle offers up great fuel economy and it offers a driving experience that is simple.
The issue with the Honda Fit is that the vehicle hasn’t been selling at a pace that is consistent. In fact the figures have been on the downward spiral since the start of this year. Many people have put the blame on the Honda Civic, a vehicle that offers up fuel economy that is better.
Honda has recently taken this into account and they are teasing that a big upgrade is heading our way. While they didn’t go into details it is thought that the vehicle is going to offer up the turbocharged engine. The engine would offer the same layout as the 1.5 litre that is on the Honda Civic, however it is going to have a capacity that is smaller.
On the Honda Fit this means that the hatchback is going to offer up fuel economy that will be insane and it will have plenty of power to offer. The turbocharged Honda Civic will make an impact as it will offer the EcoBoost of the Ford Fiesta, but is this something that is going to happen?
