Two superb vehicles that come with lots of great styling are the Honda Civic and the 2017 Subaru Impreza. Both also offer lots of technology and some great specs, but which of the two comes out ahead?

The 2017 Subaru Impreza is the more agile of the two and this gives a ride that is firm along with being comfortable. It offers the engines from the vehicle that came before and this is the 2 litre offering 152 horses and six gears if you choose the lower end and CVT on the higher end. It also comes with active torque vectoring and 18 inch alloy wheels.

The 2016 Honda Civic comes with great fuel economy and it has good ride qualities with steering that has a good feel. There is also lots of space in the back of the vehicle but if you choose the base trim it doesn’t offer the sharpness and the standard version engine doesn’t offer much by way of excitement. The CVT misses out on the direct shift control and if you go over 5,000rpm expect the drivetrain to be loud. The standard engine is the 1 litre in-line four and this offers up 158 horses with 6 speed manual. You get 16 inch tires on the base version and good ride quality.

So would you go for the 2016 Honda Civic or would you choose the 2017 Subaru Impreza?
