One of the things that we saw from the sales during Black Friday was how well the Google Pixel and Pixel XL sold. The devices did enjoy high growth but the handsets didn’t sell as well as those of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the iPhone 7.
People liked to hear how well the Google handsets were doing against others on the market and of course Google supplies Android OS to its competitors on handsets around the world.
Google are trying to gain a wider audience for their handsets and they are embracing carrier support. But they haven’t revealed the sales numbers of the Nexus 6P, so this leads us to think that perhaps they have met defeat with the 6P sales.
Perhaps the sales haven’t done so well, otherwise surely Google would want to brag them off. One time Google did say that the handset wasn’t doing too well, but have the sales been any worse than those of the Sony Xperia Z5 or the HTC One M9?
It may be due to lack of availability outside the US that the Nexus 6P didn’t sell too well and Google doesn’t want to reveal this fact, but why do you think Google is keeping the sales numbers hidden?
