While there were some mix reviews about the Pixel devices, overall, most people would agree that they were great devices. Earlier this year, it was speculated that Google might switch things up by offering three Pixel smartphones this year but new rumours now suggest that Google might have cancelled one.
According to Android Police, the Google Pixel XL might not be getting a successor this year as Muskie was cancelled. However, there is still Walleye and Taimen and one of them could be a Pixel XL 2 although we do not know what dimension it will come with.
The new Pixel devices should come running on the new Android O operating system which is why some people believe that we might see the new Pixels this Summer since Google has already announced that their new OS will be arriving this year. Others think that Google might once again allow some other smartphone manufacturer to be the first to sport the Android O and that the Pixel will only be arriving this fall.
