If you have been dropping out hints that you would like the Google Pixel XL for Christmas you might as well stop. At least if you want the 128GB version, as it will not arrive in time to go in your Christmas stocking.

The Google Pixel XL is the bigger of the two devices offered by Google and it comes with the 5.5 inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. It seems that the device has been popular and so much so that the 128GB version has now been pushed back for the shipping date.

The 128GB version of the Pixel XL was sold out even before it went on sale officially in October and now shipping has been put back by more than one month. One person who wanted the handset checked the status of their order, which was said to be shipping on 26 November.

He was told that he would not get his Pixel XL until 26 December, a month later than first thought. The customer service personnel told him that November 26 had been wrongly reported and December 26 was the shipping date for the device.

So if you wanted to get hold of the 128GB version of the Pixel XL for Christmas you don’t stand a chance of getting it.
