Google Pixel: Got Battery Problems?
If you are having issues with the battery life of your Google Pixel you will be interested to hear that there are some things that you can do to extend the battery life.
The Google Pixel standard version comes with a battery of 2770mAh and it doesn’t offer great battery life. In fact you will typically have to charge the handset each night; otherwise you won’t get past the next morning.
So how can you improve the battery life of your Google Pixel?
One feature that comes with the Google Pixel is Doze and this allows the device to go into lower power state to save some of the battery. This allows you to get notifications but apps will still sleep.
You might also want to check out the Battery optimization feature of the Google Pixel and this works along with Doze and shows you how you use apps and when they sleep. You can go into Settings-Battery-Menu button and then Battery optimization.
There is also a battery saver on the Google Pixel and this does what is says, when you turn it on the phone will have reduced performance, limitations for vibration and reduced data in the background, but it saves your battery. You can set this from the notification shade.
You might also want to uninstall any apps that you don’t use. By only having the apps that you use on your phone you can be sure that the ones you don’t use are not turning the display on or running in the background.
