Some owners have complained that the Google Nexus 6P disconnects at random. They said that there isn’t any sound when they first start a call. Some owners have also complained about the Bluetooth audio stuttering and skipping.
Some people have also complained about the Google Nexus 6P when it comes to vehicles and headsets. One example was that an owner connected his phone to a Mazda CX-5 and there wasn’t any sound until the person he was calling answered. It was tested on the Chevrolet Equinox and there was stuttering when playing streaming music.
It was hoped that an update to the software would fix the Google Nexus 6P but when the 6.0.1 update arrived some owners found that issues were worse than before.
If you are having issues you might want to try re-pairing the device and you can do this in Bluetooth by tapping the gear icon and then forget and then re-pair the handset.
Some owners have said that the wiped the cache partition of their Google Nexus 6P by turning off the handset and holding down the Volume Down along with the power button and tapping Volume down and choosing Recovery.
You can choose Recovery with the Power button and then when the Android mascot shows hold the Power button down and release the Volume up button fast.
Hit the Volume down button and choose Wipe Cache Partition and choose it with the Power button. You should then tap the Volume down and choose Yes and press the Power button to choose yes. You can now hit the Power button and the Google Nexus 6P will then reboot.
As a last resort you might want to factory reset your Google Nexus 6P.
