One device that has been doing very well in the US is the LG Optimus G, and the handset has now been released in Europe and China too. There is now talk of a more updated handset by way of the Optimus G Pro. Confirmation of the handset came about thanks to promotional materials and renders.
The G Pro device in Japan is the NTT DoCoMo and it has a screen of 5 inches and this is full HD. The handset comes with a battery of 3000mAh and now there has been mention of another device which could have an even larger display of 5.5 inches. This could be revealed at the MWC which is set to take place later this month.
The handset is said to be in competition with the Sony Xperia Z, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC M7.
The original LG Optimus G was the base behind the LG Nexus 4 and if there has been work on an LG Nexus 5 then the new device could well be it.
Would you like a Nexus handset that came with 5 inches and which was full HD IPS LCD at a resolution of 1080p x 1920p. what if the processor was the Snapdragon 1.7GHz quad core and it had support for LTE, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera, along with a 2 megapixel on the front and video recording at 1080p?
The LG Optimus G Pro could come with a battery of 3140mAh and it may have a 5.5 inch display, 32GB of internal storage, SD card support up to 64GB, with a unibody design.
The LG Nexus 4 does have hardware that is solid, however it lacks LTE and it comes with a maximum of 16GB. These are two issues that should be resolved with the LG Nexus 5.
