Google Nexus 4 Owners Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow Invite

By  |

The Google Nexus 4 is a device that has gone down well with owners but now it is classed as being old and it isn’t going to be getting anymore updates to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There is some good news though as developers are offering updates and this means that it will be getting an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Owners of the Google Nexus 4 can get Android 6.0 Marshmallow and there are not one but two versions of Android 6.0 Marshmallow to choose from. One version is from Aldrin Holmes and the other comes from Dmitry Grinberg.

If you want to go ahead and update your Google Nexus 4 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow you can check out the steps below.

• Start by transferring the TWRP file to the device and update/install it.
• Turn off the device and switch it on to Recovery Mode ( Volume up + Volume Down + Power Button).
• Once the TWP UI loads up, choose Wipe > Factory Reset.
• Next Transfers one of the ROM-GApps into the device and reboot to enter Recovery mode again.

If all has gone well you should now be left with the Google Nexus 4 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
