If you are still hanging onto your old Google Nexus 4 you will know that Google isn’t going to be offering anymore updates for it. However this shouldn’t stop you from applying updates to the device.

Android 7.0 Nougat has been made available for the Google Nexus 4 and you can get it from the XDA Developers. This means that you can update your old handset and get access to many of the new features that comes with it.

You don’t have to worry about the Nougat update slowing down performance of your Nexus 4 as those who have updated have said that the device still offers fluid performance.

You can get the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Google Nexus 4 over at the website of the XDA Developers along with instructions on how to install it. Of course as the ROM is still under development there may be some issues or some features might not work yet.
