Google Android Orea: What We Know Now

After all the speculations, we have finally gotten the name of the new Android. Google has just announced that Android O will be called Oreo which does go well with all the sweets that Google has been choosing for their OS names.

Besides coming in with a new name, the Android Oreo will also come with a few new features. The new OS will improve the notifications of the Android Operating system. The launcher design will also be upgraded. There is also the new Picture-in-Picture update which will allow users to use two apps at once. You can read more about the Android 8.0 Oreo here.

We are still waiting for Google to announce when the update will be available OTA. For now, the Android 8.0 Oreo will only be uploaded to the Android Open Source Project with updates being released for the Google Pixel, Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P.
