Future Audi RS Will Be Skipping The Stick, Drivers To Blame

By  |

More and more automakers are dropping the manual transmission and while the automaker is usually the one that gets the heat, the drivers are actually the ones that are causing the change.

Despite all the noise that the consumers make when an automaker decide not to offer a manual transmission anymore, the fact is that there are not enough people buying those manual transmissions. With such low sales number, it made sense that the automakers would decide to stop offering it.

Audi has just announced that they will be taking the covers off eight more high-performance R and RS model in the next two years. While they did not reveal much about the upcoming R and RS model, they did make it clear that the vehicles will not be coming with a manual transmission.

We know that there is going to be the Audi TT RS, the Audi RS 3 as well as the Audi RS 5 but what will the other five be? Some fans are saying that it might be the RS4, RS6, RS Q5, or maybe an RS 8.

At this point, all we can do is speculate but if you were to make a guess, what R or RS models do you think is on the way?
