Anyone owning the locked version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or even the Note 2, S4 or the S3 may be interested to hear that their device can now be unlocked and it doesn’t cost anything thanks to the leaked code that is going around.
When you have unlocked your Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the Note 2, S4 or the S3 you are then free to take the handset to the carrier of your choice. So if you do wish to go ahead and unlock your device, just check out the steps below.
One: Insert a new SIM card into your Galaxy Note 2 or Galaxy S4.
Two: Turn off your device then turn it back on again.
Three: Head to the dialpad and enter in *#197328640#.
Four: Choose  UMTS >  Debug Screen >  Phone Control >  Network Lock > Options  Perso SHA256 OFF.
Five: Wait for 30 seconds or so before heading back into the main menu by choosing “back”.
Six: In your main menu, you’ll see “Network Lock”, so now choose  NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ.
