The new Ford Sync 3 infotainment system seems to be doing pretty well here in the US and soon, Ford customers in Europe will also be able to switch out the older MyFord Touch for the new Sync 3.
Ford announce that they will be upgrading their infotainment system in Europe to the new Sync 3. So what is the difference between the Europe version and the US version? Well, the Europe version of Sync 3 will come in with a few more languages.
The Sync 3 will now support languages like Czech, Danish, Norwegian, Polish, Swedish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and English (UK). Besides that, the voice control feature will now support Swedish and Polish as well.
The new Sync 3 was created using the QNX system by Blackberry. Ford’s goal right from the start is to create an infotainment system and is simple and easy to understand, unlike the previous system.
