Ford took the covers off their new GMC Sierra AT4 model in New York City this week showing the world their Ford Raptor competitor.

The 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 will come in with a few upgraded features. It is 2 inches higher than the standard model and all come running on the all-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case. The Rancho monotube shock absorbers are designed for the off-road so it is clear who the Sierra AT4 will be competing when it arrives.

The Sierra AT4 will come with standard features like hill descent control, traction select system and more. Powering the AT4 is the 5.3-liter V8 engine although engines like the 3.0-liter turbo diesel inline six and the 6.2 liter V8 will also be offered as options.

The new 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 will be going on sale this fall. No word the price tag yet but we should learn more about it as we get closer to its arrival date.
