Ford took the covers off their new Ford Ranger Raptor but not in the US. The vehicle was revealed in Bangkok, Thailand this week.

Based on the images, the new Ford Ranger Raptor looks like a shrunken down version of the F-150 Raptor which is exactly what the fans had envisioned it to be. Besides making a few major changes to the front of the vehicle, the Raptor was also given an altered rear number with a pair of tow hooks.

Although Ford also made a few changes on the inside, it is only a minor upgrade. The Ranger Raptor was also given some upgraded chassis, brakes, and suspension so that it can handle itself better in tough situations.

Powering the Ford Ranger Raptor is a 2.0 liter twin-turbo diesel inline-four engine that will be mated to a 10-speed auto transmission. The engine will be offering about 210hp and 369lb ft of torque.

No word on whether Ford plans to offer this in the US or not.
