The upcoming Ford Ranger Raptor has been spotted out in the open and while the vehicle was heavily covered in camo stickers and tarps, the spies were able to get a little more information about the Ford Ranger thanks to the engine sound.

According to the spies, it felt like the Ford Ranger Raptor was running on the diesel engine. If that is true, we might see the Ford Ranger Raptor coming in with the 3.2 inline five cylinder engine that the Ford Transit is running on right now.

We could also see the more aggressive grille hiding behind the cover suggesting that the Ford Ranger Raptor might be coming with a larger grille but there is no way of confirming that right now.

The new Ford Ranger Raptor will be coming in to compete with models like the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 and it will only be arriving after 2020.
