Ford Ranger Finally Has A Date

By  |

Nobody thought that the Ford Ranger was going to be missed when Ford removed it from the US market a few years ago. Although the vehicle was not sold in the US, it was still going strong in some of the other markets globally.

With models like the Chevrolet Colorado and Honda Ridgeline making a mark in the US truck market, Ford felt like it might be time to bring the Ford Ranger back. Fans have been waiting to hear more about the new Ranger and luckily, the wait is almost over.

Motoring announces that Ford will be showing off the new Ford Ranger truck for the first time in Bangkok, Thailand. The vehicle will be unveiled on the 7th of February next year. At this point, we still do not know much about the vehicle but we do know that it will be coming with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that could be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

With the Ford Ranger arriving soon, which truck do you think should start worrying?

The Ranger will steal customers from Ford’s F-150, along with the other makes because if it is as large and heavy as the Chevy Colorado you gain little over the aluminum F-150.
