Back in 2016, Ford issued a recall to recall back some of their models including the Ford Mustang after some owners reported that their automatic transmission would shift into another gear on its own causing them to lose control over the vehicle.
The affected models were recalled then and Ford did offer to fix their customers vehicle for free but it is not the end of it yet. New reports are now saying that some other Ford owners are experiencing the same issue and that some of those that did got their vehicle repair are saying that the repair is not working at all.
Federal regulators are now looking into the matter to see if Ford needs to include an additional 1.4 million units in their recall. Models that could be affected by the recall are the Ford Mustang, Ford Expedition, Ford F-150 and Lincoln Navigator from the year 2011 to 2012.
