Ford showed off their new Ford Focus model today and the one that got the most attention was probably the new Ford Focus Active model.
Unlike the other Focus, the Focus Active will be coming in as a crossover. It was given a raised suspension, and black body cladding to further emphasize its ruggedness.
The new Ford Focus Active will be coming in to compete with models like the Subaru Outback although it is still too early to say if Ford actually manages to come out with a decent competitor or not since we still do not know much about the new Active model.
Details like engines, ground clearance, and drive systems are still a mystery now so hopefully, more details will be released soon. Ford did reveal that they have an eight-speed conventional automatic transmission that will be used to replace the dual-clutch auto manual.
