Ford Fiesta ST: Don’t Buy Model Out At The Moment

By  |

We have been waiting for many years to get a Ford Fiesta ST that is more practical and which comes with five doors. Of course this is not to say that there is anything wrong with the sporty hatchback with three doors.

Ford seems to think that around one quarter of Ford Fiesta ST buyers would choose the new five door version. During the three years the vehicle has been available in Europe around 40,000 units have been sold.

Along with the two doors the new Ford Fiesta ST is going to be the same as the three door version. It will come with the 1.6 litre EcoBoost engine and this offers up 179 horses and 177 of torque. It will also offer the same steering, suspension and brakes.

The Ford Fiesta ST with five doors does seem to be a great deal with a price tag of $19, 500. However as the next gen model is going start with the same variant it doesn’t make a lot of sense to get one immediately.

Spy shots have revealed that the redesigned subcompact hatchback is going to offer up a more aggressive and sporty look and it should offer up more storage and passenger room along with improvements to the performance.
