In 2010 the Ford F-150 Raptor arrived on the market and since that time it has been one of the most popular vehicles on the road. This is partly down to the vehicle offering up superb road performance. Soon the 2017 version is coming out and when it does it is going to put the Chevy Silverado to shame.
We heard a great deal about the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor and one thing that we know about it is that it doesn’t come with any competition. So the question is, why hasn’t GM done anything about launching a vehicle that could take on the Raptor.
Right now the closest thing to the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is the All Terrain X, but it’s not the perfect competitor. Recently a poll was taken and people were asked if they thought that GM should bring out some competition to the Raptor. 54% said that they wanted GM to reveal some competition, 14% said maybe and 12% said that they were not interested one way or another. What was surprising in the poll was that 10% of people didn’t know what the Raptor was or who made it.
But would you like to see someone, possibly GM, come up with something that is able to compete against the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor?
