While it is nice to know that you can go almost anywhere with the Ford F-150, the fact that the Ford F-150 won’t be able to hold you back in the time of need will ensure that the Ford F-150 stays in the garage for the time being.
Ford has just announced a new safety campaign for some of the trucks and SUVs. According to Ford, the seatbelt and seatback might fail to keep the passenger in place.
The safety campaign will affect about 116,796 units of Ford models here in North American. The issue is with the bolt that anchors the seat and seatbelt that might be cracked which would put the passenger at more risk.
Models that are affected by the recall include the 2014 Ford F-150, 2014 Ford E-Series as well as the 2014 Ford Escape. The Lincoln MKC will also be affected by the safety campaign as well.
We are still waiting for Ford to release a notification schedule.
