If you own a Ford F-150 in Canada, you might want to pay attention. Ford has announced that they will be recalling the Ford F-150 models in Canada stating that there might be an issue with the electric vacuum pump.

According to Ford Canada, the recall will affect the 3.5-liter GTDI models as these models might be fitted with electric vacuum pumps that have corroded on the inside making it less effective.

The issue will affect the brake of the car and over time, the problem will affect the stopping distance of the vehicle putting the driver, passengers as well as the other road user in danger.

The recall will affect models that were made from the 4th of August 2010 to the 25th of October 2012 at the Dearborn Assembly Plant and those made at the Kansas City Assembly Plant from the 25th of October 2010 to 20th of August 2012.

A total of 11 accidents are said to be related to the issue but no injury has been reported so far.
