Ford Bronco Learns From Jeep Wrangler Before Arrival

By  |

The Ford Bronco has been taking lessons from the Jeep Wrangler before it makes its long awaited reappearance on the market. The vehicle was seen in testing in Australia and of course the Wrangler is the closest rival and so it sets the benchmark for the Bronco to live up to. It is thought that the Ford SUV prototype, which we have also seen spy photos of, should be showing up very soon.

The Ford Bronco is going to be reborn much to the delight of many fans out there and it has been based around the Ford Ranger. The Asia-Pacific Product Development centre over in Victoria is behind bringing the Bronco back to life and we have already managed to see some test vehicles on the proving ground.

The T6 ladder platform that the Ford Ranger uses has been modified and this includes shortening it. It is thought that the vehicle may be offered in RHD and LHD and sold globally.

The Ford Bronco should have the four and five cylinder diesel engine and should be offered in automatic and manual. It is also thought that a V6 petrol engine may be offered in the US. The Bronco is taking lessons from the Wrangler Rubicon two door and four door Unlimited.

So are you getting excited to hear that the Ford Bronco is making a return after such a long absence off the road?
