One game that stands out for its use of mods has been Fallout 4 as in the past it seems that gamers haven’t been able to get enough of them. This will come to an end though soon as Sony has said that they are not allowing user mods on the PS4. This will ruin the potential of the game on the PS4 and it could turn some gamers away and onto the Xbox One or PC.
Bethesda said that Sony would not allow user mods on the PS4 but now they have reached a compromise it seems. Mods on the PS4 are going to be seen on the Skyrim Special Edition and we did hear that they should make an appearance on Fallout 4 later. Even if this happens there is going to be a catch.
Gamers on the PC and Xbox One can use new things gamers have loaded into the game. However gamers on the PS4 cannot. They need to assemble things from what they already have in the game, so you cannot make customization to such as Batsuits, e.t.c. There are people who have used mods for creating and some of them that should work are listed below.
The Cheat Terminal allows you to get into computers to activate different cheats, such as changes to the weather and infinite ammunition.
Everyone’s Best Fried allows you to take Dogmeat along with a companion out with you when you go on your adventures.
Unlimited Building allows you to change variables to high numbers.
Unlimited Crafting Container allows you to store everything that you could possibly want close to Vault 111.
Apply Legendary Effects To Guns means you can make your own Legendary gear and make sure that it is useful.
So it isn’t all bad news for PS4 and Fallout 4 but it seems that Sony have been hellbent on ruining the experience of the game.
