One game that has always been known for its mods is Fallout 4 and gamers haven’t been able to get enough. This may be about to come to an end for gamers of the PlayStation as Sony isn’t letting them use user mods. This will of course go a long way towards ruining the experience of the gamer and it could turn people away from the console to the PC and Xbox One.
Bethesda gave gamers the bad news that Sony isn’t going to let gamers use user mods, but they may come to a compromise. Mods for the PS4 will be made available on Skyrim Special Edition, which is coming out on October 28 and they could make an appearance later in Fallout 4. When this happens there is going to be a catch.
Gamers on the PC and Xbox One are able to use things that players load to the game but this isn’t going to happen with Fallout 4 on the PS4. Instead gamers are going to have to assemble from what they already have and this means that Batsuits and the like cannot be customized. Many people do use mods when creating them and some of them that should work are listed below.
The Cheat Terminal allows you to get into computers to activate different cheats, such as changes to the weather and infinite ammunition.
Everyone’s Best Fried allows you to take Dogmeat along with a companion out with you when you go on your adventures.
Unlimited Building allows you to change variables to high numbers.
Unlimited Crafting Container allows you to store everything that you could possibly want close to Vault 111.
So it might look like not all is lost when it comes to the PS4 version of Fallout 4 despite the fact that Sony has been doing their best to ruin the gamers experience.
