One thing that you automatically think about when you hear the name Fallout 4 is mods. Sony recently tried to put the dampeners on mods as they said that gamers weren’t able to use them when playing the game on the PS4. If they had managed to get away with this the total gaming experience could have been ruined and people may have moved to the Xbox One or the PC.
Sony did reach a compromise though and they said that people could use mods on first Skyrim Special Edition and then on Fallout 4. There is a catch though and some gamers haven’t been too happy about it.
Gamers on the Xbox One and PC can load things into the game but on the PS4 this isn’t going to happen and this means that there isn’t going to be customisation available for such as Batsuits.
We have managed to find some mods that do work so you might want to take a look at them below.
The Cheat Terminal allows you to get into computers to activate different cheats, such as changes to the weather and infinite ammunition.
Everyone’s Best Fried allows you to take Dogmeat along with a companion out with you when you go on your adventures.
Unlimited Building allows you to change variables to high numbers.
Unlimited Crafting Container allows you to store everything that you could possibly want close to Vault 111.
Apply Legendary Effects To Guns means you can make your own Legendary gear and make sure that it is useful.
So even though Sony did try their best to totally ruin the Fallout 4 gaming experience on the PS4 but they didn’t quite manage it.
