If you are a fan of Doom you are going to be pleased to hear that the open beta of Doom is going live on 15 April. However it’s not all candy and sunshine.

Bethesda made the announcement recently that players will get another chance to enter into the beta which is from 15 April to 17 April and you do not need a code to play.

The beta of Doom is going to be limited to just two maps. These are Heatwave and Inferno, with the only gaming mode you can play being Warpath and Team Death-Match.

The developer also said that the Snap-map feature of Doom is going to be launched with the full version of the game. This is going to allow gamers to create modes of Doom, which they can then share with the community of gamers. The final version is said to have six multiplayer modes and the game is going to cover every type of gameplay.

Id Software are also planning on releasing content updates along with maps, props, objects and other features, including editing tools and AI enhancements.

DLC packs will be made available for Doom and there will be a season pass. The DLCs will cost $14.99 each or the season pass includes all DLCs for $39.99. The first of the packs is going to come out in the summer of this year.

Doom is going to be made available on May 13 for the Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.
