Don’t Buy The Google Nexus 6P Yet

By  |

There are many cases where the latest and greatest devices aren’t always the best choices, especially for consumers that put an emphasis on value. The Google Pixel/XL is one such case. They’re great devices, but there’s better value to be found elsewhere.

And elsewhere can mean within Google’s narrow portfolio of smartphones. And we mean the Nexus 6P, which has dropped one rung lower in the pecking order and now carries the status of former flagship.

But don’t let its graying prestige sway you away from the device, especially if you’ve had your eye on it for some time. If you haven’t committed to purchasing the device yet, it’s likely that you’re one of the bargain hunters, waiting for a great deal to surface.

Through Project Fi, the 32GB model of the 6P can be acquired for $399, which is already a pretty good deal, but chances are that better deals would pop up the closer we get to Christmas.

Google is currently offering a $20 bill rebate for every successful referral to Project Fi, but that’s probably not convincing enough for folks to jump on board yet. Amazon isn’t doing much better, as its best deal at the moment is $449 for the 32GB Nexus 6P.

But that’s no reason to settle yet. Just hold on a little longer, and some insane festive deals may well appear.
