Dodge Viper May Be Resurrected, Just Not That Soon

By  |

When Fiat Chrysler announced its plans to halt the production of the Dodge Viper come 2017, many hearts were broken. But they don’t have a reason to be anymore, as the company seems to suggest the possibility of a new Viper; just not sure when it will be happening.

The Dodge Viper is undeniably one of the last great American sports car – with some even mentioning that losing the car is somewhat losing a piece of America – in spite of that, it hasn’t seen great sales success. That was why Dodge had to cut down the price by $15,000 in 2014; a sad but necessary move.

Since Fiat Chrysler’s CEO Sergio Marchionne said that the possibility of a new Viper may surface, we can’t help but to ponder when it’ll be released, and let’s not forget about the excitement it’s actually building up for enthusiasts.

While we really do hope to see the Viper in action again, do you think Sergio’s statements were convincing enough? Let’s just hope that it would be arriving as soon as possible!
