Dodge Charger Hellcat Has Some Surprise Figures
The figures of the Dodge Charger Hellcat may just surprise you as it has been said that it was the least popular of the Dodge Hellcat series, there were three times as many Chargers made during 2016 than the year previous. This leads us to believe that the demand has skyrocketed for the Charger and this may be the reason why the next generation version has now been delayed until 2021.
The Dodge Charger Hellcat numbers are not official from the FCA, however, they do come by way of a reliable source. This means that they should be very close to those figures from the FCA. The information is said to come from an insider to the company and they want to remain nameless.
The figures show that there were three times the numbers of the Dodge Charger Hellcat with its 707 horses in 2016 with 4, 025 units being made of the SRT Hellcat with the 8 speed auto transmission. This can be compared to 2015 when there were 1,335 Hellcats made. This means that the production of the vehicle has improved by 302% during 2016.
The most popular version of the Dodge Charger Hellcat was the black exterior and Pitch Black was the most chosen for the sedan during 2016. Plum Crazy didn’t go down very well as only 255 units sold and it came in at a ranking of 7th for the Charger, but 2nd on the Dodge Challenger.
