Dodge Challenger Ready To Move Out Of Its Comfort Zone

By  |

The Dodge Challenger is preparing to move away from its comfort zone as the Australian division of the company are looking into a right hand drive version of both the Challenger and the Charger.

Australia loves it rear-wheel drive vehicles and the Ford Mustang is testament to this as it has been a great success. With the sales of the Challenger not doing as well it makes sense for the company to consider a right hand drive version.

The boss of FCA Australia said that they have been talking about it as they know what the Mustang is capable of in Australia. He went on to say that the company is always looking for chances in the market and if they can make a business case out of it then it is more than possible that there will be a right hand drive Dodge Challenger and Charger in Australia.

It was thought that the FCA was thinking about an Australian company performing the conversions but it seems that this has been ruled out due to costs. Now they have moved on to discuss both the Dodge Challenger and Charger next generation vehicles based on a more global architecture.

Would you buy the Dodge Challenger or Charger if it was made available in right hand drive?
