The Dodge Viper has been embarrassed by the Dodge Challenger Hellcat when the pair recently went head to head in a race as a photo finish certainly wasn’t needed.
The Dodge Challenger Hellcat offers up 707 horsepower along with 650 torque thanks to the V8 6.2 litre supercharged HEMI engine. The Dodge Viper gives out 645 horses and 600 torque courtesy of the V10 8.4 litre engine, so they were pretty well matched, or not as the case may be.
Even before the race began the Dodge Viper didn’t get off to the best of starts in the pre-brawl burnout. The driver of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat lit up the rear tires, while the driver of the Viper went easy on the clutch, resulting in nothing like a burnout.
