Dodge made it clear from the start that their upcoming 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was going to come in as the most powerful production V8 engine model and based on what we know now, it might as well be but despite all the numbers, the racers were still not impressed.

If we were to take everything into consideration, the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon could easily go from 0-60moh in 2.1 seconds. To achieve that, the driver will have to use the optional Direct Connection powertrain controller and also remove all the additional weight like the passenger seats and rear seats.

As nice as that sounds, the racers are not that impressed with it as most of them know that a number like that will include rollout. In case you are wondering, the rollout is an extra seven inches that the car is allowed to roll before the time start which means the car isn’t really going from 0-60mph.

However, even with all of that, the Dodge Challenger Demon is still a pretty impressive vehicle.

It’s not impressive because of the possibility of 7 extra inces…… you’re kidding right?! Only a Checy guy would say something so ridiculous about the Demon.
